Event Registration fee: Rs 200/-
1. Any number of students can participate from a college.
2 . A student can participate only in 4 events per registration.

Registration fee : Rs.800/- per head

Accommodation will be provided on first come first serve basis.

You will be provided pillows and bedspreads in hostels in dormitory arrangement.
We will be providing you accommodation from 15th March (Wednesday) night to 18thMarch (Saturday) Morning.
The Team leaders should send their travel details at least one week before to accom@mekchat.in to avoid inconvenience.

Accommodation would be inside the GCE campus and would be on strictly shared basis.
Accomodation would be provided at Rs.100 for one day(24 hrs).

Please ensure that you send a mail else we cannot assure you of accommodation even if you are registered online.

Stay at Campus

Each team is supposed to call the accommodation co ordinators upon arrival. They will escort you for lodging. You are also requested to keep your college Id-Card with you. You will be issued a Mekchat Id-Card when you reach Salem. Please keep this Id-Card with you at all times during the three days of the festival.


In event of any untoward incidents or misbehavior of any kind (hooliganism, rowdiness, having alcohol etc), Mekchat team reserves the right to take any punitive action as deemed necessary, even to the extent of confiscating, canceling the participation of the concerned college, escorting them off the campus and sending a report of misconduct to the head of the concerned institution.

How to Reach College

1 . Easily accessible by road and rail.
2 . Just 7 km from the Salem Bus Stand. Any buses towards Omalur take you through to us.
3 . At a distance of around 5 km from the Salem Railway station, the college is well connected by buses from there as well.
4 . Autos run in plenty towards the college.
5 . A tranquil atmosphere on the Bangalore highway awaits you folks!!!
