About the Coaching:
The Institute regularly organizes various cultural and social activities. Functions like Independence Day and Republic Day are celebrated by students, faculty and staff members with patriotic zeal. Sports Competitions, Quiz, Antakshari etc. are some of the regular co-curricular and extra- curricular activities of the Institute. To promote Indian culture amongst youth, some of the programs organized in association with SPIC-MACAY are as under :SPIC MACAY (Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) is a voluntary non-profit movement founded in the year 1977 by dedicated academicians and students. It seeks to conserve and promote Indian culture and introduce the rich and heterogeneous cultural tapestry to the youth of this country. Through focus on the classical arts, with their attendant legends, rituals, mythology, and philosophy, SPIC MACAY seeks to facilitate an awareness of their deeper and subtler meaning and values.To promote Indian culture among youth, some of the programs used to organized in association with SPIC-MACAY:-Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore organized an 'INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSIC CONCERT' in collaboration with SPIC-MACAY. The occasion was demonstrated by Pandit Raja Kale, renowned Vocalist accompanied by Shri Anil Moghe renowned Tabla maestro, and Shri Shyam Joshi, renowned Harmonium maestro. Pandit Raja Kale is Ph.D in Music and has performed in many prestigious music festivals in India and abroad. The concert was organised on January 22, 2016 at 2.00 p.m. and 187 students, vice chairman, director and faculties of PIMR were present to attend the concert. Students learnt about Raga Malkos, and Darbari. The programme concluded with recitation of 'Mile sur mera tumhara...........'Under the aegis of Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore with The Spic Macay organized a 'FLUTE RECITAL' on August 4th 2015 at 2.00 pm. The artist was Shri Shashank Subramaniam, a Grammy award winner of the Bamboo Flute. He connected Flute with the modern music, and Shri Parupalli Phalgun on Mridumgam accompanied him. He also covered the history and features of bamboo flute and uses of different sizes of flute for variations of Ragas.The institute has also organized a musical instruments performance by Dr. Kamala Shankar in collaboration with SPIC-MACAY on 5th February 2015.The Institute has organized a Musical event in collaboration with SPIC-MACAY on September 19th, 2014. The artists was Dr. Dhanajay Daithaneker accompanied by Shri Ulhas Rajhans on Tabla.
