A Digital Masterclass on "Street Photography" by Canon is on Saturday 20th June, at 3 PM. It is a golden opportunity for students to know the essense of Street Photography comprising of VR/AR Technology.
The speaker is Mr. Soumya Shankar Ghosal, a Canon EOS Maestro.

It may be mentioned at this point that the second phase of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), WB's initiative to organize Webinars every Saturday from 3 pm to 4 pm encompassing emerging and immersive technologies in Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR) has already rolled out. It was decided by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Saikat Maitra, and Prof. Samir Mukherjee, Head, Department of Emerging Technology & VR/AR/MR/XR, MAKAUT and also an international expert to enhance the technical skills of the students.

The previous webinars explained the technology and process related to VR/AR Technology. The ongoing sessions have begun with another set of eminent speakers for this emerging field of immersive technologies. It will focus on Practical Solutions for applying the technology and Development of VR/AR Start-Ups.
The Masterclass on Candid Photography was conducted by Mr. Anoop Guha, on 13.06.2020. He is an expert in this field and official photo mentor of Canon. Mr. Guha talked about the varied facets of photography in VR/AR field.
