Campus Karma partners with Facebook to offer free access to it's website via Internet.org

Date: September 21, 2015

It gives us immense pleasure to announce that Campus Karma is now a part of internet.org by facebook and will be one of the services offered on Facebook’s recently launched Internet.org project in India. Campus Karma has partnered with Facebook to offer its user to access this student social networking website through the Internet.org mobile application, free of data charges, in India.

Internet.org is a global partnership between technology leaders, non-profit organizations, local communities and experts who are working together to bring the internet to the two-third of the world’s population that doesn’t have it. Users of the Internet.org app will have access to various services on the internet without any data charges.

Facebook and RCom have made the app available to Reliance mobile users in selective states and plan to expand the service across rest of India in coming days. With the expansion, Internet.org and the services offered on it will have the potential to reach RCom’s over 150 million subscribers. The Internet.org app is currently available in Mumbai, Maharashtra & Goa, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, and Kerala.

If you are a Reliance customer in any one of these states, you can access the app in the following ways:
•    If you have an Android, you can download the app from the Play Store.
•    If you have a feature phone, visit internet.org from your mobile browser.

If you're using Campus Karma through Internet.org free services, you may be seeing a free-data version of Campus Karma that doesn't include photos/videos. You can view the full Campus Karma experience by visiting campuskarma.in directly for which data charges will apply.
