To fight against Covid-19, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), WB has decided to organize a vaccination drive for its employess. The Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of MAKAUT, Prof. (Dr.) Saikat Maitra, said that, vaccination is planned on 27th and 28th Arpil, 2021 for approx 400 employees at JNM Hospital, Kalyani in a phased manner.
Prof. Maitra advised the employees to register themselves in this vaccination drive undertaken by MAKAUT, W.B. He also urged the staff to take maximum protection and follow COVID-19 protocol to combat this pandemic. Apart from this, emergency staff like housekeeping and security personnel of the University will be given mask, gloves and sanitizer free of cost.

MAKAUT has been standing beside the common people from the very start of the pandemic. Previous year MAKAUT started community kitchen services, prepared sanitizers and masks for free distribution in the locality and government offices. The Vice Chancellor of the University feels that it is our duty as a part of the society to stand beside the people during the times of distress.
